The new one Law 9/2017, of November 8, on Public Sector Contracts, by which the Directives of the European Parliament and of the Council 2014/23/EU and 2014/24/EU, of February 26, are transposed into the Spanish legal system. 2014, determines the obligation to contemplate a series of precepts in public procurement such as, among others, the base contracting budget, the estimated value of the contract and the contract price. To do this, the cost structure and any other calculated expenses must be established in advance.

In addition, the assistance body will be in charge of making as many communications as necessary during each award procedure, these being necessarily electronic through the State Contracting Platform.
